Rupert has been specialising in the sale and private client acquisition of property at the top end of the market since 1999. Initially based in Mayfair, dealing in prime West End property, he spent 13 years as a partner of Knight Frank in the country house market and, during that time, dealt with the sale and purchase of some of the finest town and country houses in London and the South-East. Rupert has amassed considerable experience during his career which includes 13 years as an international Insurance Broker at Lloyds, dealing with clients predominantly from Asia and the Middle East and subsequently from acting for clients on either the buying or selling side of property transactions. He has developed a reputation for integrity, professionalism and a determination to achieve the very best results for his clients.

During an initial meeting, we will discuss exactly what you are looking for, your expectations and plans. Utilising our considerable knowledge of property in the area and a comprehensive list of contacts, we can target the specific areas you are looking to move to. Many properties never come to the open market and we will source and preview all those which look suitable and compile a shortlist of on and off-market property closely matching your requirements and budget for you to consider. We will arrange for you to view properties on this shortlist and always accompany you so that we can get a deeper understanding of exactly what you want.
Once we have identified a property you are interested in buying, the negotiation phase begins. Every negotiation is different and often relies on the situation and character of the seller. Using our experience and knowledge of each situation, we aim is to secure the property at the best available terms in the current market conditions. The fact that you are represented by us often means you will be regarded as a ‘preferred buyer’ and our ability to conclude a transaction quickly and efficiently will help to ensure the best result for you.
It is very important that you are aware of any issues which may affect the value or your enjoyment of your property. We therefore carry out thorough due diligence on any property you wish to buy and provide advice on any concerns which arise.
Managing the purchase
The speed and efficiency of a transaction will often determine how smoothly it will go. We advise our clients on instructing the right solicitors, surveyors and finance professionals in order to ensure the process from having your offer agreed to exchanging contracts is as speedy and painless as possible. We will manage any issues if they arise and work with our contacts to provide a quick solution.
There is often so much to organise leading up to completion day. We can assist you by contacting utility providers, recommending removals companies, inspecting the property on the day of completion before the final funds are released and arranging to pick up the keys for you.
Occasionally clients may find a property themselves, either on the market or privately and instruct us to act for them in the negotiation and management of the purchase from that point onwards. We are very happy to provide this service to clients at a reduced fee on the basis that we have not already been instructed by them in their property search.
If required we can introduce you to a variety of additional experts who may be useful to you in your new property. These include architects, planning consultants, rural consultants, structural engineers, interior designers, builders, landscaper designers and gardeners.
